SWTOR testing is over, time for the wait to begin.

Well, in case you haven’t heard, all public testing of Star Wars: The Old Republic is now over. The wait for Early Game Access begins.
In case you’re wondering how early your access will be, it depends on when you placed your pre-order. It seems there has been a bit of a community uproar as some of the people who have ordered the Collectors Edition feel that they should get the full 5 days Early Access. Others disagree, stating that BioWare announced early on that it was dependent  upon order date and not the edition that was ordered; meaning that whether you ordered standard, deluxe or collector’s edition, it’s where you fall in line that matters, not how much money you spent.

So for all you testers out there, it’s going to be at least 10 days (possibly up to 14 days) before the adventure begins … again.

Personally, I had to wait until late in the game so I’m not expecting more than one day early access, but then again I was testing for a few months already so I can’t say that I would have any right to feel cheated at all.

A reminder, if you tested in the past two weeks and you have pre-ordered or plan to order soon after release, you can keep your install and patch it into the release version as soon as you do get access.

All the best and “May the force be with you!”
